Editable pet food package inventory

Use a separate record for each actual package. Preserve the original package, lot code and exact printed-date wording. A local package ID links your record and container; it does not replace the manufacturer’s lot.

This tool organises the facts you enter. It does not calculate safe dates, establish food suitability or recommend a diet. Follow applicable manufacturer and feeding instructions. Unknown dates should remain unknown.

Entries stay in this page. They are not uploaded or automatically saved between visits. Export your text copy before closing. Exported text includes your entries, so keep it where appropriate for your household.

Before choosing the next package

Check intended pet and current feeding instructions, actual condition, printed-date meaning, known opening date and applicable storage/after-opening instructions. An “open” status does not mean approved for feeding. Keep suspect food out of ordinary stock rotation. If a pet has a health problem related to pet food, FDA says to stop feeding the product and call the veterinarian.
